This Privacy Policy applies to Block Glow, package name com.puzzlergames.blockglow, and related support communications. Block Glow is developed and operated by Keshav Budhiraja, an independent developer based in India. “Puzzler Games” is the developer name used on Google Play and is not a separate legal entity.
Overview
Block Glow does not require a user account. Core game progress is stored locally on your device. The game uses Google services for advertising, consent choices, purchases, and store features and—only after you accept the in-app Terms and Privacy Policy—crash reporting and coarse product analytics. It may also schedule local return reminders on your device after Android notification permission is granted.
Crash reporting and app diagnostics
Block Glow uses Firebase Crashlytics to detect crashes, application-not-responding events, and reliability problems. Crashlytics collection is disabled by default and enabled only after you accept the in-app Terms and Privacy Policy. When enabled, it may collect crash stack traces, relevant application state, relevant device metadata, and a Crashlytics installation UUID when a report is generated.
Crashlytics also depends on Firebase Installations and Firebase Sessions. These services automatically process a Firebase installation ID, Firebase software version information, app metadata such as package name and app version, operating-system and SDK information, device manufacturer and model, network connection type, and session metrics such as when the app is foregrounded to start a new session.
This information is used for app stability, crash grouping, debugging, security, technical support, and future reliability improvements. Block Glow does not attach an account identity, email address, free text, an exact board layout, or a custom Crashlytics user ID to reports, and does not use Crashlytics information to build advertising profiles.
Crashlytics and Firebase Analytics collection are disabled by default in the app and enabled only after you accept the in-app Terms and Privacy Policy. They are separate from AdMob advertising consent and the in-game Privacy Choices control. Google acts as a service provider for these diagnostics under its own terms and privacy practices. See Firebase's Android data disclosure guidance and Firebase privacy and retention information.
Coarse product analytics
After acceptance, Block Glow uses Firebase Analytics to understand broad product health and gameplay patterns. It records only coarse product events such as onboarding completion, game-mode start, clear and combo tiers, bucketed score, duration, and move counts, session completion reason, revive use, level completion, arcade mode start and end, notification permission or opening, and review-flow eligibility or request attempts.
Block Glow does not log names, email addresses, free text, exact board layouts, raw notification text, or a custom stable user identifier. Analytics advertising-ID collection, Google Signals, ad personalisation, User-ID, Google Ads linking, and BigQuery export are not used for Block Glow.
Google may process technical app and device information needed to operate Firebase Analytics under its own terms and privacy practices. Firebase Analytics event data uses the shortest available GA4 retention setting, currently two months.
Local gameplay information
Block Glow stores gameplay and preference information locally, including scores, coins, cups, unlocked levels, badges, daily rewards, sound and haptic settings, arcade progress, water-sort tube balance, session state, tutorial state, accepted-terms state, advertising reward state, purchase-unlock state, review-eligibility counters, and notification scheduling and delivery history.
This information is used to operate the game, preserve progress, apply preferences, display achievements and rewards, and restore the current session. Block Glow does not provide an account-based cloud save.
Local notifications
If you grant Android notification permission, Block Glow may schedule occasional one-time return reminders using Android WorkManager. These reminders are created and selected entirely on your device; Block Glow does not use Firebase Cloud Messaging or another remote notification server.
Opening the game cancels stale reminder work. Delivery is limited to no more than one reminder in 24 hours and three in a rolling seven-day period, and overnight reminders are deferred to a local daytime window. A reminder may open Home, Classic, Glow Levels, Water Sort, Glow Match, or Tic Tac Toe. You can disable notifications at any time in Android system settings.
Advertising and Google Mobile Ads
Block Glow uses Google AdMob to provide banner, interstitial, and optional rewarded advertisements. The Google Mobile Ads software may automatically collect and share the following information for advertising, measurement, analytics, security, and fraud-prevention purposes:
- IP address, which may be used to estimate a device’s general location.
- App interactions such as launches, taps, advertising impressions, clicks, and video views.
- Diagnostics and performance information, such as launch time, responsiveness, and energy usage.
- Device advertising identifiers, app-set identifiers, and other applicable device or account-related identifiers.
Google states that information collected by its Mobile Ads software is encrypted in transit. Google and its advertising partners handle information under their own terms and privacy practices. Learn more in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
Consent and privacy choices
Block Glow uses Google's User Messaging Platform where advertising consent or privacy choices are required. Available choices depend on your location and applicable requirements. When a Privacy Choices option appears in the game, you can use it to review or update available advertising choices. These controls relate to advertising and are separate from consent-gated Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Analytics collection. Android notification permission and notification settings separately control local reminders.
Advertisements and Remove Ads
Rewarded advertisements are optional and provide a clearly described in-game benefit when the advertising provider confirms completion. Availability depends on network access, advertising inventory, provider checks, and device state.
The optional one-time Remove Ads purchase removes banner advertisements and forced interstitial advertisements after Google Play confirms ownership. Optional rewarded advertisements remain available because they provide player-chosen rewards.
Purchases
Google Play processes the Remove Ads purchase. Block Glow receives product details, purchase status, and a purchase token needed to complete, acknowledge, unlock, or restore the purchase. Keshav Budhiraja and the Puzzler Games website do not receive your full payment-card number, bank-account information, or Google account password.
Sharing
Block Glow can create share text and, for high-score sharing, a result image. You choose the destination through your device’s share interface. The selected destination service handles shared content under its own terms and privacy policy.
Using the app-sharing option may grant a one-time local bonus of water-sort tubes. This reward is a virtual gameplay feature with no cash value and is stored as local progress.
Support communications
Block Glow does not contain an in-game support form, chat, or messaging feature. If you independently choose to contact the published support email address, we receive your email address and anything you choose to include. Support information is used to respond, investigate issues, maintain necessary correspondence, prevent abuse, and comply with applicable obligations.
Do not send passwords, full payment-card information, bank-account details, government identity numbers, or identity-document images.
How information is used and shared
Information is used to operate gameplay, save local progress, provide and measure advertisements, grant advertising rewards, process and restore purchases, manage advertising privacy choices, schedule optional local reminders, understand coarse gameplay and product patterns, investigate Crashlytics reports and session-quality metrics, diagnose and fix reliability issues, prevent fraud and abuse, respond to support, and comply with applicable obligations.
Information may be processed by Google through AdMob, User Messaging Platform, Google Play, Firebase Crashlytics, Firebase Analytics, Firebase Installations, Firebase Sessions, and related services. Advertising partners and email providers may process relevant information under their own policies. Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect users, investigate abuse, or defend legal rights. We do not sell local gameplay progress, analytics events, Crashlytics reports, or support correspondence.
Retention and deletion
Local progress remains on your device until it is cleared, reset by the game, or removed when the game is uninstalled. Because Block Glow has no user account, clearing the game’s local storage or uninstalling it is the normal way to delete local progress.
Firebase currently states that Crashlytics keeps crash stack traces and associated identifiers, including Crashlytics installation UUIDs and Firebase installation IDs, for 90 days before starting removal from live and backup systems. Google controls this service-side retention. Support emails are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to resolve the request, keep necessary records, prevent abuse, or meet applicable obligations. You may request deletion of support correspondence by contacting us.
Firebase Analytics event data uses the shortest available GA4 retention setting, currently two months. Google may retain certain aggregated reporting or service-operation information under its applicable terms. Local notification history remains on the device until app data is cleared or the app is uninstalled.
Security
Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used to protect information. Local progress uses standard device storage, and information sent to Google services is transmitted using encrypted connections. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.
Children’s privacy
Block Glow is intended for audiences aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. It does not require an account or contain chat, a public profile, or an in-game form requesting a player's name or email address. Google services for advertising, consent choices, purchases, store features, consent-gated crash reporting, and coarse product analytics may process technical and device-related information—such as IP address, app interactions, crash logs, diagnostics, session metrics, and identifiers—as described in this Policy. Local notifications are optional and controlled by Android permission. Block Glow does not knowingly ask children under 13 to provide personal information. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided personal information through a support communication may contact us to request deletion.
Your choices
- Use available in-game privacy choices to manage applicable advertising consent options.
- Use your device settings to reset or delete the device advertising identifier where supported.
- Decline optional rewarded advertisements.
- Clear local game storage or uninstall the game to remove local progress.
- Contact us about information contained in support correspondence.
- Allow or deny notification permission and change notification access later in Android system settings.
- Firebase Crashlytics and Analytics are disabled before legal acceptance. After acceptance there is no separate in-game Firebase toggle; clearing app data or uninstalling the game stops future app-generated reports and events. Previously collected data remains subject to Google's retention process.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when Block Glow, its service providers, data practices, or applicable requirements change. The latest version will remain available on this page with a revised update date.
